Eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications, experience, and age limits for various positions are as follows.

1. Research Assistant NCDC:
• Master’s Degree in Zoology/Microbiology/Biochemistry.
• Age: 30 years.
2. Technician NCDC:
• Science Graduate in Biology (Zoology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology), Biochemistry/Microbiology.
• Age: 18 to 25 years.
3. Laboratory Attendant NCDC:
• Matriculation or equivalent qualification with Science subjects.
• Age: 18 to 25 years.
4. Research Assistant NCVBDC:
• Master’s degree in Zoology.
• Desirable: Two years practical experience in a Medical/Research Laboratory.
• Age: 30 years.
5. Laboratory Assistant Grade II NCVBDC:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
• Desirable: One year experience in a government-recognized Medical or Biological Laboratory.
• Age: Between 18 and 27 years.
6. Insect Collector NCVBDC:
• 12th Pass with Science.
• Desirable: One Year experience in Entomology from a government-recognized medical/biological laboratory.
• Age: Between 18 and 27 years.
7. Technician BCGVL, Chennai:

To apply online for various Group B and C posts under the Directorate General of Health Services an individual will have to pay an application fee structure that varies based on categories: General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay 600/-, while there is no fee for SC, ST, and PH (Divyang) individuals. 

Additionally, all female candidates are exempt from the examination fee. The payment mode specified for the fee is online i.e. aspirants will be able to pay it using a debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI.
