Education Qualification

Candidates must have finished their 10+2 (Intermediate) coursework with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology as their core courses and an authorised board should acknowledge the educational institution.

Applicants from the General category must receive 50% of the possible points in their Intermediate test; applicants from the OBC, SC, ST, or PWD categories must receive 40% of the possible points in order to be eligible for NEET.

Age limit

In order to be eligible, applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

NEET 2024 exam pattern consists of 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted. The duration of the exam will be three hours and 20 minutes. The exam will follow the updated syllabus released by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI) recently decided together on the total number of seats for NEET 2024.
